IN.TO was born from a genuine connection. It wasn't premeditated, but rather as natural as the story
The story begins with Ana and Bárbara, who share the oldest friendship between them—a bond that has lasted since the very beginning. Later, Ana and Inês met while volunteering with children in Zanzibar, an experience that, in itself, is a gesture of complete dedication. Sharing the same values and vision, they realised that something special was emerging from this union.
Every detail of this brand carries an authentic story. From the outset, it was clear that IN.TO would be more than just a professional project—it is, above all, personal. The name INTO reflects this essence: “IN”, representing what is within—values, emotions, friendship, the way we see life; and “TO”, symbolising those we want to reach—you, the community we wish to build.
These values are reflected in our swimwear brand, with transparent communication and with the intention that all women feel comfortable and well-represented, able to see themselves in our brand, without exception.
Our vision for IN.TO always goes beyond the concept of business. We want it to be an extension of who we are and what we believe in. This is the commitment we make to you.
INTO Portugal, with saudade - the feeling of summer & produced with pride
We grew up with the Portuguese summer. With a culture of warmth, long days at the beach, and afternoons spent with friends and family. Summer has always been the highlight of the year, the time when the world seemed simpler, lighter, and it reflects our way of seeing life.
The longing for summer, for the beach and the sea, is something we carry all year round. And it's with this spirit that we created Into.
Into's bikinis are, in a way, an extension of this connection to Portugal. Everything is made here: the pieces, the production, the photos, and even our models, who are true Portuguese women like us.
Production takes place in Porto, in a Portuguese factory that we carefully selected. We chose this partnership not only for its proximity but also for its commitment to quality and ethics. Working with a local factory allows us to have closer control over the entire process, ensuring that each piece is made with the utmost dedication and respect for the people involved.
This choice is our way of contributing to the local economy, supporting Portuguese industry, and keeping production here, close to us. With Into, we want to bring the essence of Portuguese summer from Portugal to the world.
IN a new era, TOwards growth - our vision for the future
At INTO, we believe the future of fashion lies in sustainability, quality, and inclusivity. From the outset, we have made conscious choices to minimise our environmental impact, knowing that this is a journey of constant evolution.
Most of our fabrics contain recycled materials, reducing the need for new resources and giving raw materials a second life. We make the most of every fabric cut – small offcuts are reused to create bikini bags, and the remaining scraps are sent for resale, preventing waste. Our packaging is recyclable, and local production reduces our carbon footprint while supporting and encouraging a more sustainable industry in Portugal.
Sustainability is also synonymous with durability. We create high-quality bikinis designed to last for years, because we believe that conscious consumption means investing in pieces that truly make a difference.
But our vision goes beyond sustainability – we also want to promote inclusivity in fashion. The swimwear market still offers little diversity, and we believe that fashion should celebrate all body types. We want to help build this future, making inclusivity the norm, not the exception.
We want to continue to grow, to do things differently, and to always seek new ways to evolve – because that is part of who we are.
